The Memphis Pros were a professional basketball team in the American Basketball Association (ABA) during the 1970–71 and 1971–72 seasons. They were the successor to the New Orleans Buccaneers, who had relocated to Memphis, Tennessee in 1970. The Pros faced significant challenges, including a losing record and financial instability stemming from low attendance, which led to the team being sold to local investors in 1972 and renamed the Memphis Tams.
