The Philadelphia Fox were a short-lived expansion team in the WBL, playing just 10 games in the 1979-80 season at the Philadelphia Civic Center. Owned by Eric Kraus and coached by former NBA player Dave Wohl, the team struggled financially from the start, leading to the league revoking Kraus’ ownership and shutting down the team before the season’s midpoint.
