The Memphis Tams were a professional team who participated in the American Basketball Association (ABA) during the 1972–73 and 1973–74 seasons. Originally the Memphis Pros, the reborn Tams were part of an unstable period in the team's history, experiencing significant internal turmoil under the ownership of Charles O. Finley. After just two unsuccessful seasons, the franchise was rebranded as the Memphis Sounds under new management.
