The Los Angeles Stars were a professional team who participated in the American Basketball Association (ABA) from 1968-70. The franchise was initially established as the Anaheim Amigos in 1967, relocating to Los Angeles in 1968 and rebranded as the Stars. They had a brief unremarkable stay in the City of Angels until 1970, after which the team was sold and moved to Salt Lake City, where they improved significantly and won an ABA Championship as the Utah Stars.
