Chicago Blitz

The Chicago Blitz were a charter member of the Unites States Football League in 1983 and remained in the league until 1984 when they folded. The Blitz played their games in Chicago's Soldier Field and were led by renowned NFL head coaches George Allen (1983) and Marv Levy (1984). The team's best season was 1983 when they finished 12-6 and lost in the playoffs to the Philadelphia Stars. Their most notable players were RB Tim Spencer, WR Trumaine Johnson and QB Vince Evans.
