Arizona Outlaws

The Arizona Outlaws were a member of the Unites States Football League in 1985 and had a record of 8-10 while playing their games in Tempe's Sun Devil Stadium. When the USFL was launched in 1983, the Outlaws originally began play as the Arizona Wranglers. In 1985 the Wranglers merged with the Oklahoma Outlaws as the team moved back to Arizona to finish out their existence. The Outlaws most prominent player was QB Doug Williams, who would later go on to win a Super Bowl with the Washington Redskins.
