The Utah Stars were an accomplished and influential franchise in the American Basketball Association (ABA), known for their enthusiastic fans and competitive team spirit. Active from 1970 to 1975, the Stars achieved significant success during their tenure, hosting their home games at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City. The Stars' 1971 championship remains a landmark achievement in Utah's sports history, paving the way for the NBA New Orleans Jazz to relocate to Salt Lake City in 1979, becoming the Utah Jazz.
