The New England Gulls, a short-lived pro team in the Women's Professional Basketball League (WBL), played their home games at the Volpe Athletic Center in Lowell, Massachusetts, which served as their primary home arena during the 1980–81 season. The Gulls' tenure consisted of only a few months, as they closed shop mid-season in January 1981.
